Description
Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey and water. This is an off-dry Mead with a lingering full honey body. On the front of the palate delicate notes of clover, flowers and fruits that prelude to the making of honey. Which is followed by a rich, succulent, lingering honey finish. Mead has a long history and is widely thought to be one of the oldest alcoholic beverages, with evidence for the consumption dating to the 7th millennium BCE in China. Mead then went on to become the most common alcoholic drink of England during the 10th-14th century.
